Remember at school fetes where there’d always be a “guess the jellybeans” competition? Hundreds of those tiny things jammed in to a jar, and you were always suckered in to buying a ticket, eager to test your guesstimational abilities.
Well when I was recently tidying up my studio, and reorganising my 8 Bit Dreams illustrations, I was struck with wonderment. How many illustrations did I have in the stack? How many were sitting there, piled up high? I don’t actually know, but maybe you do…
So dear readers, I propose a competition, with two possible ways to win.
1. Guess the height of the stack.
2. Guess how many illustrations are in the stack.
One guess of each per person, and the first correct guess in each category wins an original custom 8 Bit Dreams illustration. The competition will close on the 21st of November, so get cracking.
You can post your answers in the comments section of this post.
GOOD LUCK!

I’m going to say 6 inches tall.
Considering a ream of paper is about 2″ thick, and taking paint and compression into account, my fake math says it should be someplace in the neighborhood of 1200 illustrations.
